Music was Steve's life

From listening to Yes in the woods by Indian Mill Creek on a jam box to playing professionally around the country (mainly eastern), Steve was all about music.
His first band was with Jamie Failing and Greg Colon (pictured below). Most of their music was improv, they would just start playing a song with no idea when it would end.
Later Steve met Steve Sarder who was in the band BOP (Harvey). Steve and Steve started the band "Daddy Longlegs" which turned out to be a great move. As he was playing gigs around Michigan and the east coast for Daddy Longlegs, he was also in an underground band called Aids Babies under the fictitious name Bill E. Scud. Aids Babies played for parties and small venues in Lansing, MI at Michigan State University and in Kalamazoo around the Western Michigan University campus. After Daddy Longlegs disbanded, Steve, Craig Griffith, & Garth Mosher started a band called "Motherbird".
