This audit includes a blower door test to identify air leaks (which
is typically the single greatest energy loss in existing homes). It
also includes a visual inspection of the insulation, furnace, water
heater etc. We will leave you with a simple to understand one-page
checklist of current conditions, recommended improvements, and
estimated savings.

COMPREHENSIVE AUDIT: $550
This audit also includes the blower door test, but may also include
a duct blaster test if needed to test for duct leakage. This also
includes a report with approximately 20 pages of technical
information including recommended HVAC sizing, CO2 emissions, and
best of all an improvement analysis with payback periods and annual
savings for recommended improvements. This comprehensive audit is
geared toward people who are very serious about making improvements
and may need to hire a contractor or finance their improvements with
an Energy Efficient Mortgage.

THERMAL INFRARED INSPECTION AND
REPORT: $250, or $100 when included with any audit.
Thermography is a key tool in any energy audit, with the right
equipment and conditions; it is the closest thing to having x-ray
vision to see problems hidden from plain sight. From air leakage
during the blower door test to water damage inside walls and
ceilings, the thermal infrared camera uncovers many problems before
they get out of control.
